As a teenager, I was always the chunky girl but, luckily for me, I wasn’t fat – there were always bigger girls who took the ridicule instead of me. Still, being overweight is never easy especially when you are a teen.
If I thought it was hard to keep my weight under control while I was a teen, it just got harder in adulthood. My desk job doesn’t provide any exercise – but it does provide enough stress to keep me returning to the vending machine and breakroom’s coffee which is so burnt it needs 4 spoons of sugar. By the time I was 30, I was 210 pounds – nearly 100 pounds overweight for my height!
Of course, I tortured myself with all the different diet plans which limit what you can eat or annoy you with other systems. With some of them, I actually did lose a lot of weight but it all just came pouring back on faster than I lost it. I finally sat down with a nutritionist and we made a realistic diet and exercise plan which I would actually be able to keep. It was working but at a rate of about ½ to 1 pound per week. At that rate, it would take 2 years before I was a healthy weight. I went back to my nutritionist and asked if there wasn’t any other way I could enhance my diet. I was pretty surprised when she told me to spice it up with Capsiplex.
Here is how my nutritionist explained the way that Capsiplex works: when you eat chilli peppers, they make you get all hot and even sweaty, like you have just had an intense workout. The reason is because chilli peppers actually do stimulate your body like you are exercising. The chilli pepper extract in Capsiplex gets your body temperature up and you start to burn more calories. My nutritionist was pretty quick to say that Capsiplex is not a miracle weight loss drug and I would still need to stick to my diet and exercise plan. I did some research though and Capsiplex really did start to seem like a miracle weight loss pill.
There is no doubt that Capsiplex contains some powerful chilli peppers. About 20 minutes after I took one of the Capsiplex pills, I began to feel warm all over. I didn’t get the acid reflux or any burning feeling that I suspected might occur though. My nutritionist had told me that it was best to take thermogenic weight loss pills like Capsiplex before exercising and I did it before my morning stroll to work and up the stairs.
When I got my scale out for my weekly weight in, I was really shocked to see that I had dropped 4 pounds that week with Capsiplex compared to the ½ to 1 pound I was losing before. It wasn’t just a fluke either because I kept losing more weight every week. The second week I lost 5 pounds and the third week another 4 pounds. After the sixth week, the weight loss tapered down a bit to 2-3 pounds but it was still thrilling. Six months after starting my Capsiplex diet plan, I am down to 140 pounds – literally a new person!
